The Isle of Wight County Historical Society (IWCHS) is pleased to announce the release of the second edition of "Historic Isle Of Wight" By Helen Haverty King first published in 1983.
The second edition provides a pictorial update showcasing the 78 historic houses in the first edition. With over 180 pages and richly illustrated with over 250 pictures dating from 1900 -2006, many of the handsome black and white photographs are from the The Virginia Library Collection taken during the WPA project in the 1930's.This hardboard edition documents the current status on these houses.
